Which Bose SoundTouch speakers work with Mast?

Mast cannot change what the hardware does, so whether it works with your system comes down to three questions. None of them needs an account to answer, and all three can be checked in a couple of minutes.

Could the official app control it at home?

This is the closest thing to a yes-or-no test. Mast speaks the same local API the official app used on your own network, so a system that app could reach on your wifi is one Mast can almost certainly reach.

Is it on firmware 27.x?

Requires firmware 27.x — every speaker that kept receiving updates until the shutdown has it. No firmware has been published since. Whether an older speaker can still update itself is untested, so try yours before assuming it can't.

Is it on the same wifi as your phone?

Control is local, so both have to sit on the same network — a guest network counts as a different one. There is no control over mobile data or from outside the house, and that is deliberate rather than missing. Getting a system onto that network in the first place is a job for the official Bose SoundTouch app, which is still available; the support page has the steps. Mast takes over once it is there.

Why there is no list of models here

A list could only honestly name hardware that has actually been tested on real equipment, and a short list reads as “yours is not supported” to everyone missing from it — which would be untrue. The question above is a better test than any list: if the old app could control it at home, try it.
